Privacy Policy
Last updated May 11, 2026. This page explains how Autism and Friends handles parent accounts, child support data, subscriptions, AI drafts, safety requests, and deletion requests.
What Autism And Friends Is
Autism and Friends is a parent-led support and learning tool for communication cards, routines, feelings check-ins, calm tools, social stories, games, learning activities, reports, and parent-reviewed planning. It is not a medical, therapeutic, or educational advice service.
Information Parents May Provide
Parents may provide account information, child profile details, routines, communication cards, mood check-ins, social stories, progress notes, settings, and optional planning details. Children should not create accounts or enter private information on their own. Parents should avoid entering unnecessary medical, school, address, emergency, or highly sensitive information.
How Data Is Used
Data is used to operate the app, personalize child-facing tools, save parent-created supports, show progress views, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, and provide parent-reviewed planning drafts. We do not sell child data or run ads in the child experience.
Payments
Subscriptions and trials are handled through Stripe Checkout and Stripe Billing. Autism and Friends does not store full payment card numbers in the app. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud prevention, and tax information under Stripe's own policies.
Parental Consent And Control
By creating an account and entering child support information, the adult user confirms that they are the parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult responsible for the child data they provide. Parents can review, edit, and remove many child support records in the app and may request account or child-data deletion by contacting support.
Parent Helper AI
Parent Helper AI is parent-facing and review-based. AI-generated routines, stories, cards, calm plans, school notes, or reports are drafts only and must be reviewed and approved by a parent before use. Child-facing Buddy Mode is guided with buttons and short responses; it is not an open-ended child chatbot.
Data Retention And Deletion
Active account and child support data is kept while the account is active so the app can provide routines, cards, reports, progress, and parent tools. Parents can request deletion by emailing crateshipstudios@gmail.com from the account email. Verified deletion requests are targeted for completion within 30 days, except limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, payment, tax, legal, or dispute reasons.
Security And Service Providers
The app uses HTTPS, secure server-side sessions, Firebase, Cloudflare, Stripe, and other service providers needed to operate hosting, storage, authentication, billing, app reliability, and safety workflows. Access to production data should be limited to authorized support or operations needs.
Human Review And Safety Requests
Parents can contact support for privacy, safety, billing, or content concerns. Safety-related reports are reviewed by a human operator. Autism and Friends is not an emergency service; urgent medical, safety, behavioral, or crisis concerns should be handled by qualified professionals or emergency services.
